association of photography lovers of Udupi, will conduct 'Tamron colors of Sri
Krishna', photography contest as a part of Sri Krsihnajanmashtami celebrations
at Udupi. The moods of Sri Krishna Janmashtami-Vittlapindi will be the theme of
the contest. Contestants should register their name on the day at Udupi in
Tamron stall. Interested may send 18x12 inches color photos to Astro
Mohan, Hemadri, H. No. 1-1-99 (B) 1, B Ed college Road,
Kunjibettu, Udupi - 2 before September 30th. For more information

Photographers’ Association (UPPA) and Paryaya Sri Kaaniyoor matha jointly
holding a State-level photography contest titled “Tamron colors of Sri Krishna”
to mark the Udupi Sri Krishna Janmashtami Day.
The grand prize will be the
Tamron 18mm-270mm lens. The winners will receive cash prizes of Rs. 3,000
(second) and Rs. 2,000 (third). There will be five consolation prizes carrying
a certificate and a memento each, said a press release issued by the UPPA.
This time contestant should
pay Rs. 100 as a registration fees. The registered will get a free T shirt and
the cap. The salon calendar closes on September 30th and the results
would be announced on October 10th. The photographs would be displayed at Sri
Krishna Matha during Navarathri celebrations the release said.
Each participant can send a
maximum of four entries. The maximum size of color prints should be in 12x18
inch and all prints should be unmounted. Each entry should bear title, name and
address of the entrant. Unless otherwise specified, the competition committee
reserved the right to reproduce any of the entries in their catalogue or press
without any payment, it said.
