Udupi Press Photographers association (UPPA) came into existence from 2008. UPPA is the collective thought of a competitive group of professional photojournalists, who capture the very moments of the past and present, for the future. The Association is a platform for all journalistic lens-men who work under challenging circumstances with one objective of freezing the historic moments, under stringent deadlines as demanded by the editorial which assigns equally competitive assignments.
